Acrylic Bird Cages?

I was online and found a site that makes acrylic bird cages.
It looked awesome. It looks like it will contain all the mess.
Does anyone out there have one?
Do you like it?

acrylic bird cages are just nice to look at when they’re clean- which you’ll be cleaning every day. And be sure that you don’t clean it with anything other than soap and water. Any of those glass cleaners can kill the birds if they inhale it. Acrylic bird cages don’t allow for climbing and birds LOVE to climb. Unless they have bars on the inside, I wouldn’t recommend one. It’s must easier to sweep the floor up, rather than having to clean the walls of your cage as well. They look nice in the catalog and in photos, but they need to take a picture of the cage after it’s been lived in it for a few days. Then you’ll see what it’s REALLY gonna look like! I think you’ll be more annoyed than anything. Stick with the bars and you’ll be happier and so will your bird.

I don’t like the all acrylic ones because they don’t have any bars for them to climb on and I don’t think they allow enough air circulation.

I prefer the ones that have the acrylic just on the front – it helps with the mess, gives a clear view and allows for air circulation.

They are ok for a day or two at the most. They are always in need of cleaning (they are basically windows) The make the odor very noticeable and , depending on design, can actually be hard to clean. We used these at the Petland that I worked at about 11 years ago. The owner finally got rid of them because and got regular cages.

I bought a small acrylic cage for my love bird. I have it on my shelf at work. It’s great! I got it from acrylicbirdcages.com after I had it for awhile, I bought a second one for my grey. The acrylicbirdcages.com people use stainless steel wire on the top, climbing bars and oerches. I got the automatic water also. The cage gets dirty but my floor and walls are clean!
